Here at Crosby Aviation Training we offer bespoke aviation training through a variety of methods that will take you from just starting in the industry to becoming industry leaders. Our instructors have many years experience throughout the aviation industry from military to commercial to private. We offer apprenticeships, one-to-one mentoring, in-person delivery at a location of your choosing, and fully online courses. We work closely with our clients to ensure all their needs are met.
Aviation Apprenticeships
We offer two Level 3 apprenticeships complying with the standards set out by Skills England, Aviation Flight Operations Coordinator and Transport Scheduler (Crew Planning). Both apprenticeships are planned to be 18 months in duration before entering the End-Point Assessment. We work closely with the employers and apprentices to ensure a seamless experience between learning the knowledge and practicing the skills on-the-job with fully flexible programmes.
Our programme deliver includes:

At least one online 1-2-1 session with a dedicated and experience tutor per month.

Online group workshops every month.

Access to our state-of-the-art Learning Management System to complete portfolio work.

Online review meetings with learner, line manager and tutor to discuss progress approx. every 10 weeks.

Quarterly face to face group training sessions with all learners.

The quarterly sessions will also be held on site in a variety of aviation environments to further widen our learner's industry appreciation and experience.
All of our training has also been meticulously designed to meet the requirements of ICAO 10106 Operations Officer competency-based training and updated to the current CAA Regulations.

Aviation Flight Operations Coordinator
Our Aviation Flight Operations Coordinator programme consist of 6 phases of training, each 3 months in duration, starting with the basics such as Safety Management Systems and Just Culture and ending with the more complex subjects such as Surface Contamination and Emergency Response Procedures.

Each programme is taught by an instructor with many years experience in management in aviation who will guide learners to excel in becoming the best leaders possible. These programmes range from 3 months to 6 months with guided learning, research and reflective activities.

UKOMA
On behalf of UKOMA, the United Kingdom Operations Manager Association, Crosby Aviation Training delivers an entry level 'Operations Officer' training course that is designed to give delegates a condensed week long course in the key skills required to support their development and progression within the industry. The course features guest speakers from across the ranks of diverse operators and other experts. These courses are offered twice a year in March and November. It also features a bolt-on upgrade, a fully accredited Level 3 Diploma in Aviation Operations Control.
